21 In 2014

Hey y'all! As I embark into the potentially fantastic year of 2014, I am going to put a twist on my New Years resolutions. In just 13 days, I'm turning 21 years old! Coincidentally, it is said to take 21 consecutive days of doing something to make it a habit. So this year, I am spending every 21 days working on a small (yet challenging) goal of mine! I am hoping that at the end of the year, I will have made all of these exciting, inspiring changes, and that I continue performing these habits throughout my entire life. The list of resolutions is still under construction, but this is what I have so far! I figured I have a bit of time to figure out my goals for the end of the year.

2014 NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS: MY 21ST YEAR

Jan 5- Jan 26: Implement new work out plan! Includes getting membership to Petit Center in Milwaukee so I can utilize their track!

Jan 26-Feb 16: Do homework immediately after classes. This includes forming a solid homework/extracurricular schedule.

Feb 16- March 9: Implement yoga into fitness routine! Focus on meditation.

March 9- March 30: Make reading a habit. Start reading at least a half of a book a week!

March 30-April 20: FullyRaw Challenge! Attempt to eat (mostly) fully raw vegan for 21 days!

April 20- May 11: Floss every single day!

May 11- June 1: De-clutter! Go through alllll of my junk and start living more simply.

June 1- June 22: Start saving! Figure out a savings plan. Got to pay for Grad school somehow…

June 22- July 13: Make my bed EVERY morning. Start practicing daily maintenance of my living space.

July 13- Aug 3: Listen to a new album EVERY day! Music soothes the soul.

Aug 3- Aug 24: ONLY use phone for calls, texting, and GPS. Stop wasting so much time with technology!


Aug 24- Sept 14: Start playing basketball more! Get a group to play once a week.

Day 1 of my work out program starts today! I'm going to blog my progress every day to hold myself accountable!
